erin-vandette“My name is Erin Vandette and I am the president of Phi Sigma Sigma. I am a junior, studying early childhood education, and I am from West Islip, New York. I am also a member of the Iona College Pipe Band, and Gaelic Society. Being apart of Greek life has been the greatest experience I have had thus far at Iona College. It has opened a door to a great community of leaders and scholars that participate in philanthropic and social events throughout campus. As a member of Phi Sigma Sigma I have made many valuable friendships, networks with leaders of the national organization, and have a wonderful chapter of sisters constantly supporting me. Phi Sigma Sigma is a passionately committed group of women who define ourselves not by our distinct differences, but what we have in common, which is our desire to make a change. With over 100 years of tradition, we believe a woman who serves is a woman who leads. Phi Sigma Sigma is a home to me, and I wish you the best in finding your home in the Greek community.”
